After years of working with startups we noticed some disconnects in web services that weren't being properly met—and we wanted to equip business owners with the right services and tools to make a bigger impact. As we planned Alter Ethos, we knew we had to help with some of the most common small business and startup oversights.
We began with the name, Alter Ethos, because we wanted to engage with a new work-life culture — one where we enjoy the positive impact of our work and we can step away without stress to enjoy our personal lives. We carry this balanced perspective into our relationships with clients — and strive to help them achieve the same balance.

A word about ethos
Ethos is commonly defined as the "characteristic spirit of a culture or community," a topic of interest in ancient Greece among popular philosophers such as Plato and his student, Aristotle.
Aristotle went so far as to develop the theory that there are three categories of ethos, categories that we feel are important to incorporate into our work at Alter Ethos.
